Bristol Day Of The Dead Festival is a community music and arts festival showcases live bands, dance groups, DJs, salsa, mariachi, competitions and all the fun of Halloween but with a twist!
Halloween is a great time where we can come together and party. Day Of The Dead or Día de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday which focuses on gatherings of family and friends to remember friends and family members we have lost. We bring the spirit remembrance and celebration of life to Bristol with fantastic fun, entertainment and flair as West Country meets Latin America!
(This event is completely unfunded and we are a not for profit event. Any money that is raised will go directly to support local causes. This year’s headline charity is 16-25 Independent People)
Expect local and international acts, top DJs, Mariachi competitions, ghost walks, apple bobbing, pumpkin carving lessons and competitions , haunted house and ghost ride, prizes for best dressed and all topped off with a spectacular fireworks display and fire dancers making this the hottest ticket in town!
The performance and play area is covered and we also have plenty of other cover should it rain (including a evening viewing area for the tailored Fireworks display)
Due to local area restrictions you cannot bring your own alcohol onsite (an absolutely no glass is allowed) but there is bar onsite with subsidised drinks prices. Buying from the bar helps make this event happen, cover the costs of the children’s activities and raises money for our charities.
