The Blast returns with a stellar line up for STB

Redlight, Gorgon City, Woz, My Nu Leng, Ben Pearce, Route94, SPY, Calyx & Teebee, Darq E Freaker and more.

Following on from their sold out event with Shy FX’s Digital Soundboy crew last month, The Blast return to Motion on March 16th for their second STB event of this year. The infamous STB shows are famed for their momentous bookings, enthusiastic crowds and eclectic line-ups that help to pack out Motion for every event. This latest addition to the series sees a fresh and dynamic take on the UK’s thriving bass movement, showcasing a veritable who’s-who of established and emerging artists.

Headlining the main room will be Bristol hero and Blast favourite, Redlight. This unstoppable force has made cyclonic waves on the dance music circuit in recent years, collaborating with the likes of Ms Dynamite and Roses Gabor. Having hijacked the ears of the nation with his club anthems “Source16″ and “Lost In Your Love’, Redlight will be sure to deliver his unique brand of audio anarchy come March 16th.

Making their STB debut, Black Butter Recordings present their label showcase featuring a musical hatrick of hotly tipped emerging artists: Gorgon City, Woz and My Nu Leng. Having played host to a number one single by dance music success story of 2012, Rudimental, Black Butter are now firmly cementing their mark as true purveyors of the UK’s finest artists. Also taking to the main stage will be mystery man of the moment, Route94, the irrepressible Ben Pearce, Bristol’s own NYTA and support comes from rising promo outfit and DJ collective Apex.

The tunnel plays host to a feast of D&B featuring the likes of SPY, Calyx & Teebee, Lenzman, TC and Villem. Whilst over in Motion’s notorious Cave room, Manchester’s Hit & Run crew add the audacious sounds of Darq E Freaker, Chimpo, Razor Rekta and Rich Reason to the proceedings.
