Scissor Sisters will visit Bristol’s Colston Hall on October 22nd
The Guardian said of their recent London show that the group should be credited with influencing a string of chart-topping artists including Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj. A four star review from The Times called the show a ‘glorious mash-up of gig, polysexual revue and saucer-eyed rave’ – and if that doesn’t encourage you to come down to ‘have a kiki’, nothing will.
The band released fourth album, ‘Magic Hour,’ on 28th May, which sees Scissor Sisters - Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Ana Matronic and Del Marquis – working with a diverse list of collaborators, from Calvin Harris, Pharrell Williams, Diplo to Azealia Banks.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2004, Scissor Sisters have sold over 4.5 million albums in the UK. The albums ‘Scissor Sisters’ and ‘Ta-Dah’ both hit #1 whilst ‘Night Work’ reached #2.
