David Rodigan MBE & The Blast presents RAM JAM | Saturday 27th April | Motion Bristol

The legendary David Rodigan MBE heads to Motion this April to bring his infamous selection of Reggae, Dancehall, Roots and Dub. Renowned for his immeasurable dedication and thirst for Jamaica’s finest vibrations, the musical veteran continues to travel across the globe, taking party goers on an eclectic journey through the Reggae ages.

Turning the temperature up for Motion will be Toddla T and his Dancehall roadshow, the Toddla T Sound. Drenched in relentless fun and feverish vibes, the showcase features the likes of British soul star, Shola Ama and MC’s Serocee and DRS. Toddla’s cheeky fusion of UK Garage, Funky and beyond brings the carnival back to Bristol.

Joining Rodigan on the Ram Jam roaster will be the nation’s much loved Reggae talent, Bitty Mclean. Fresh off the road from a European tour with Sly & Robbie and the Taxi Gang, Mclean brings his trademark voice and fearsome catalogue of smash hits to the Motion warehouses.

Critically acclaimed duo, The Nextmen will be performing alongside MC Wrec. Weaving their way across four turntables, the formidable duo blend together the finest sounds from every corner of the dance music map.

Also out in force will the gritty D&B sounds of Dub Phizix & Strategy in the main room, meanwhile Drum and Bass collective, Metalheadz take over the Tunnel. Label boss and D&B heavyweight, Goldie tops the line up with a very special two hour set. In support, will be the unmistakable Ulterior Motive, Amit, Mikal, ANT TC1 and the splitting vocals of GQ and Texas.
