Grillstock is back! The Vu team are pumped and ready to savour all of the delights of this 2-day American style BBQ and Music festival.

This is the biggest festival of its kind in the UK and features a fantastic, lip smacking line-up. Here is a taster of what you can expect this year from the fantastic Grillstock team.

Weber King of the Grill BBQ Competition

18 teams teams battle it out over the course of the weekend in the UK’s biggest US-Style BBQ competiiton. It is a great spectacle with plenty to see and taste  with categories including: Best Chicken; Best Ribs; Best Pork Shoulder; Best BBQ Beans and Best Brisket. £1000 cash prize for the winning team.

Buffalo Trace Music Stage

A fantastic stage of rockabilly, cajun, bluegrass, blues and other twisted americana. Acts include Hayseed Dixie, The Martin Harley Band and Sarah Savoy and the Francadians.

Newman’s Own BBQ Academy

A series of 45 minute masterclasses delivered by guest chefs and BBQ experts. Example topics to include steaks & burgers, plank cooking, ribs, whole birds, low and slow, the art of smoking, how to compete in a BBQ competition etc. Ultimate bragging rights for the winner.

Grillstock Marketplace

Vibrant and busy marketplace offering the very best in BBQ equipment, food, drink and al fresco living. See all the latest BBQ kit, sample fabulous chilli sauces, pick up a cocktail or two. Check out our exhibitor page for a full listing and more info.

‘The Invisible Circus’

Street shows, death defying balance acts, stilt walkers other circus shenanigans from Bristol’s Invisible Circus. Don’t miss the highlight ‘Fire Show’ on Saturday PM. More info on the Invisible Circus at Grillstock is here

Mac’s Chilli Eating Competition

Witness the madness of crazy people competing to eat hotter and hotter chilli-peppers. There can be only one winner – and they will win a spangly new Macs ProQ Frontier BBQ Smoker BBQ worth £159.99 plus a bunch of BBQ seasonings & sauces

Beer & Cider Festival

Two well stocked bars celebrating local craft beers and ciders with our favourite brewmasters Bristol Beer Factory and Orchard Pig Cider running the show.

Grillstock Canteen

Finest BBQ cuisine. With slow cooked pulled pork, sticky ribs, brisket and authentic baked beans on the menu. Tuck in.

    I have been on a diet for the whole of June so I am going to be a force to be reckoned with at grillstock. Keep a safe distance people!
