Organisers of pop-up restaurant, cafe and music venue, Eat Drink Bristol Fashion, have today released details of their live music programme and chef Josh Eggleton’s “modern British” tapas menu – which has just been awarded the Soil Association’s prestigious Gold Food for Life Catering Mark.
The Gold award for Eggleton’s tapas menu – along with the Pony & Trap’s “Story” organic Sunday lunch and banquet menu – means that Eat Drink Bristol Fashion is the first pop-up restaurant and Eat Drink Events the first events company in the UK to receive the accolade.
Underlining the quality of the menus, the Soil Association award is given to recognise high quality, sustainable food that uses British and locally-sourced seasonal produce.
With Eat Drink Bristol Fashion returning to Queen Square for a second year of festivities from 13th to 27th May, Eggleton’s “modern British” tapas menu will be served in a public Tapas Cafe & Bar, hosting up to 300 casual diners at any one time.
Available to the public from Tuesday 14 May, the very special tapas offering will be served from 12 noon ‘til late, with 16 of the 17 tapas dishes priced between £2.50 and £5.00. The café is free to enter with no need to book!

Bristol’s Live Music in the Tapas Cafe
Live music will be performed every day on the Tapas Café stage creating a festival style atmosphere for revellers of Bristol featuring some of Bristol’s best up and coming bands, soloists and DJs across the two weeks.
Adding to the experience, visitors will be able to access three bars provided and run by West Country drink heavyweights, Butcombe and Thatchers, while a champagne and cocktail bar will be stocked and run by Hatch Mansfield.
