Bristol Zoo Gardens

At Bristol Zoo Gardens you can enjoy an amazing world of animals, all within our award-winning 12 acre gardens. With over 400 species and nine animals houses under cover, it’s a great day out in Bristol whatever the weather. We suggest you allow 2-5 hours for your visit to really take in everything we have to offer. Visitors can say hello to the family of gorillas, stroll through the tropical Butterfly Forest or visit the impressive Seal and Penguin Coast. Other Zoo favourites include Monkey Jungle, Reptile house, Zona Brazil, Bug World, Twilight World, and the Aquarium.

By visiting Bristol Zoo you will be directly contributing to the conservation of endangered species and habitats.

Opening Times:

The zoo is every day from 9am-5.30pm in peak season (from 26 March 2012), and close at 5pm during off peak season (from 31 October 2012).

The Zoo is closed on Christmas Day.

Last entry to the Zoo is an hour before closing time and animal houses close half an hour before closing time.
